A recent law change requires us (along with banks, brokerage houses, and other financial institutions) to disclose our Privacy Policy to you – which we are more than happy to do. As you go through the privacy policy, please note that this site is co-owned by Wedding Bean & Bay Area Wedding Fairs, LLC. Although Bay Area Wedding Fairs may be mentioned below, it includes Wedding Bean as a business entity.
Information We Collect
We collect certain personal information about you – but only when that information is provided by you or obtained by us with your authorization. We use that information to better assist you in your event planning process.
As part of that process, we may share your information with the participating exhibitors (“Exhibitors”) or professionals who sign up with Bay Area Wedding Fairs and its affiliates. You may receive offers and other relevant information from the above mentioned by phone, email, text or other means. However, they are required by law to clearly give you an unsubscribe (opt-out) option.
By attending the fair, you authorize Bay Area Wedding Fairs, its staff and its Exhibitors to take pictures of you and your party. Those pictures may be shared on social media, print, and/or online.
Your information may also be used to develop new features and services, increase site security, and protect our rights and assets.
Opt In & Opt Out
When registering on this site, you have the right to opt in or opt out of disclosing your personal information as mentioned in the registration form. If you decide to opt out, you are still welcome to attend our wedding fairs without registering on the website.
Cookies & IP Address
To make your browsing experience smoother and faster, we deploy “Cookies” on this site. Cookies recognize you when you visit again and are a common practice across websites.
Our servers may also collect your IP address which identifies your internet connection.
Attending Event
Purchasing a ticket provides entrance for one person into a Bay Area Wedding Fair. All ticket sales are final unless pre-approved. Bay Area Wedding Fairs reserves the right to refuse entrance for any reason deemed detrimental to the event.
Once inside the event, attendees acknowledge that they are not covered by any Bay Area Wedding Fairs liability policy. Attendees agree to hold Bay Area Wedding Fairs harmless for any physical, emotional, financial, or other damages as a result of attending the event.
Exhibitors are solely responsible for their interactions with attendees. Some advertised attractions or promotions may not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. These promotions or prizes have no cash value.
Attendees must be a Bride or Groom to qualify for prizes or giveaways. We do not guarantee delivery of products or services included in promotions.
Attendees must obey all laws and security requests. Failure to comply may result in ejection without refund.
Social Networking & Digital Marketing
We may use social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to enhance your event planning experience. These platforms are third-party sites and have their own privacy policies.
We may also reach out to you via text messages (carrier rates may apply). By registering with Bay Area Wedding Fairs and PoshProfiles, you opt into email and text marketing.
